Determined to change the way Americans eat tacos, Taco Bell will soon have a vegetarian option for some of its regular customers.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the company has started experimenting with a vegetarian version of its classic taco, known as the Burrito, which was first introduced in 1982.
The burrito was originally a Mexican dish that was popular with the Mexican and Latino communities.
However, since the late 1990s, it has become increasingly popular among the Asian community.
According the Chronicle, “Burrito” will be available for lunch and dinner for the first time on Tuesday, November 19, in all locations of Taco Bell, including stores in Las Vegas and Austin, Texas.
Customers will be able to order a vegetarian burrito at the time of ordering, and the company said it will make changes in the future, including the use of a “non-meat substitute” for beef.
The new version of the Burritos will be called the Burrio, and it will be “delivered in a variety of flavors and sizes, including a taco bowl that will include an assortment of different meat options including chicken, turkey, or beef,” the Chronicle reports.
The Burrito will also be available as a sandwich, and will also include lettuce and tomato.
In addition, the burrito will be offered as a “special delivery,” and will be priced at $4.99.
According to the Chronicle’s report, the new “special” burrito can also be used in “tacos for kids,” “sandwiches for adults,” and “sandwich for kids.”
While the Burrios will come with vegetarian options, it is unclear what kind of ingredients are used in the vegetarian burritos.
Taco Bell did not respond to the Times’ request for comment.
In the past, Taco Bar has offered a vegetarian menu for its customers, and its burrito, burrito burrito bar, and burrito chorizo bar are also vegetarian.
The Times reports that Taco Bell has also experimented with making a “sushi burrito” in the past.
The burrito is typically served with rice, with the toppings of a fried egg, a choice of sashimi, and a choice or two of toppings such as bacon and mayo.
Taco Bell has said it plans to introduce a vegetarian, meatless burrito option to other locations.
