India’s restaurants are now a part of the national dining scene, and now there are 10 new openings to be added in the next three years.
NDTV reported on Monday that the government has already approved the opening of 50 new restaurants across the country.
The government is also considering allowing restaurants to serve alcohol, NDTV said.
In the coming months, the government plans to open five new restaurants each month, it said.
This is the first time in the country that there has been a simultaneous announcement of restaurant openings, NDtv said.
The opening of new restaurants is a key part of government plans and it will help in expanding the local dining market, NDCTV said.
“These are some of the most sought after spots in the city, and the Government is committed to ensuring they are accessible to the public,” an official said, adding that the opening in the last three months will be a success.
